“Italian television crosses another threshold, moves one step beyond the border of neorealism television in recent years”

GJ Squarcia wrote and directed the TV Movie I GIORNI DELL’ODIO, the scariest massacre in recent italian history. I giorni dell’Odio is the incredible story of the arrest of a quiet couple from a small village in northern Italy accused of a terrible massacre. They killed three women and a little baby who lived next door and managed to live for over six months with their secret.

Based solely on his own investigative work and on original documents, most of them unpublished, the movie was described as: “an estetic Revolution  (La Stampa)

“I giorni dell’Odio” was an absolute novelty in the Italian television scene and was inspired by the Anglo-Saxon tradition of investigative journalism that had its highest and most rigorous expression in Truman Capote’s masterpiece.

The film was written in two weeks and shot in just 7 days by Giorgio John Squarcia in May 2007.

The original soundtrack of the movie was composed by Cesare Cremonini.
